About This Position:
The Apprentice will support the Welder / Fabricators in creating the fencing and gates for commercial, industrial, and public works projects. You will learn from experienced colleagues, gaining the skills and experience necessary to grow within the profession.

Pay: $16-22 per hour
Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
Job Duties:
Assist with these iron fabrication tasks:
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Cut material for fabrication
- Weld cut iron pieces using MIG and/or flux core welding techniques
- Finish product and prepare the project for field installation or outside processing
Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in metal fabrication in a shop environment
- Beginner knowledge of metal fabrication tools
- Commitment to high quality work and integrity
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, as necessary
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and stand for an extended period
Preferred:
- Welding experience
- Experience in commercial fencing or construction
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
