About This Position
This position is responsible for leading the metal shop team in creating fencing and gates for commercial, industrial, and public works projects. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, hardworking, and enjoys the excitement of a fast-paced shop. The role has high amounts of autonomy and only the highest levels of quality and integrity are accepted.

Pay: $20-30 per hour
Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
Job Duties:
Assist with these iron fabrication tasks:
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Cut material for fabrication
- Weld cut iron pieces using MIG and/or flux core welding techniques
- Finish product and prepare the project for field installation or outside processing
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience in metal fabrication in a shop environment with strong work history
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication tools
- Commitment to high quality work and integrity
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, as necessary
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and stand for an extended period
Preferred:
- Experience in commercial fencing
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
